For only the second time this year, Hendon have no midweek game scheduled but they do make another trip to Kent on Saturday, writes David Ballheimer.
It is not as long a journey as last weekend, this one being to Bromley, the temporary home of Cray Wanderers.
The Wands, celebrating their 150th year this campaign, have consolidated in their second season in the Ryman League Premier Division, but, after climbing into the play-off picture a few weeks ago, a run of indifferent form, including last weekend’s surprise 3–1 reverse at Croydon Athletic, has seen them drop to mid-table.
When Cray visited Vale Farm in late January, the match ended 2–2, with Hendon’s goals coming from Greg Ngoyi (on his debut) and Jamie Busby.
Last season, both teams won their home games 2–0, Yacine Hamada and Busby being on target at Vale Farm in September 2009, the return going Cray’s way in January 2010.
