Hendon complete their busy March with three fixtures, writes David Ballheimer.

On Saturday, the Greens travel to the Buzzlines Stadium, Cheriton Road, the home of Folkestone Invicta, for a Ryman League Premier Division fixture.

With Hendon making the relatively long trip to the Kent coast, the match will kick-off at 3pm, despite it clashing with England’s Euro Championship qualifier against Wales.

Promoted from Ryman League Division One South via the play-offs last season, Folkestone have had a difficult season and are mired deep in a relegation dogfight.

Two days later, on Monday night, Hendon entertain Canvey Island in the Ryman League Premier Division, kick-off 7.45 pm.

Much of Hendon’s travails of recent weeks can be traced to the reverse fixture at Park Lane, when they were beaten 4–1, when they had three players red-carded.

Then, on Wednesday night, kick off 7.45pm, Hendon make their first ever visit to Bayliss Avenue, Thamesmead Town’s home, in the quarter-final of the London Senior Cup.

The Greens reached this stage knocking out the holders Metropolitan Police, while Thamesmead – another team whose colours are predominantly green – saw off Blue Square Bet South Division Welling United. The two teams have never met before.
