Hendon have released two defenders this week.
Jon Coke, who arrived in September from Leatherhead, made his last appearance in the 8–1 loss at Lowestoft, being withdrawn at half-time, though he was an unused substitute in a few matches thereafter. He scored one goal for the Greens, in the 4–1 victory at Croydon Athletic, but rather lost his form after a bright start at Vale Farm.
John Fletcher, who had been studying and playing in the USA this season, signed for Hendon in December, but his debut was delayed a few weeks.
Fletcher was then very unfortunate to pick up a hamstring injury which didn’t clear up and he broke down a couple of times after that, which meant he was available for only a handful of matches in the two-plus months he was with the club.
