Hendon boss Gary McCann is threatening to make changes after the Greens slumped to another disappointing Ryman League Premier Division defeat on Monday night.

McCann, after seeing his side lose 3-0 at Kingstonian, said: “We are lacking the mental strength that other teams are showing. Our powers of recovery from a setback aren’t there and we are feeling sorry for ourselves too easily.

“I told the players that the performance from a number of them was unacceptable and I will make changes. We are missing some key players, but I can’t use that as an excuse.”

Hendon host Aveley this Saturday and then travel to Staines on Tuesday for a Middlesex Senior Cup semi-final tie.
