A lifetime of work with young boxers was recognised with awards for two experienced coaches.
Brothers Johnny and Jimmy Oliver were lauded at the Ex-Boxers Association annual awards bash.
They were handed Outstanding Service and Support to Boxing gongs for years of work by them at Finchley & District amateur boxing club.
The duo are 66 and 61 years-old respectively.
Fighters who today stand on the cusp of fame owe much to the grounding in the sport they got at the club, at Bulwer Road.
Heavyweight Derek Chisora is taking on the best in the world in the division today.
Anthony Joshua has started to make waves as well.
The young ABA super-heavyweight champion won Outstanding Amateur Boxer of the Year at the event.
“Johnny and Jimmy have helped the club turn out great champions over the years,” said a spokesman.
“Some of them became world champions and Johnny and Jimmy helped bring the club to the high standard it is at today.”
Johnny won 10 bouts of a 12 fight-long professional career.
Recognition for the brothers marked a spell spanning over 40 years with the club.
