Barnet boss Paul Fairclough reckons the on-form Joe Devera is the best defender in the league.
Speaking after Devera's man-of-the-match performance in Saturday's crucial 4-2 win over Lincoln City, Fairclough said: "If there is a better defender in this league then I am yet to see him."
Devera has been in fine form since moving into the centre of defence from right-back. He was faultless at the back on Saturday and almost scored, hitting the woodwork twice with headers.
Fairclough is hoping the three points against the Imps, courtesy of goals from Steve Kabba (2), Mark Hughes and Izale McLeod, will kick-start the great escape.
It was Barnet's first win since the beginning of January.
Now Barnet have two tough games against promotion chasers coming up. The Bees travel to Rotherham United on Saturday and then host Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday.
