THINGS do not get much easier for Hendon as their difficult run of fixtures continue with two more games against top-six Ryman League Premier Division opposition, writes David Ballheimer.

On Saturday afternoon, the Greens entertain Tonbridge Angels.

Kick off at Vale Farm is at 3pm and Hendon will be looking to avenge their recent 2–1 reverse at Longmead Stadium, when Belal Aite-Ouakrim gave Hendon the lead.

The Angels remain third in the table despite their 1–0 home loss against Sutton United last weekend.

Hendon’s record against Tonbridge is pretty awful and last season, a goalless home draw saw them earn a rare point – Billy Dunn had scored in a 2–1 away defeat earlier in the season.

Then, on Monday night, Hendon visit Kingsmeadow Stadium, the home of Kingstonian, for another league game.

The Ks have endured a patch of sticky form recently, their 3–1 home defeat against Wealdstone saw them drop out of the play-off places.

They have, however, already beaten Hendon 3–2 at Vale Farm this season, a thriller in which Lee O’Leary and Jamie Busby goals saw Hendon come close to staging a remarkable fightback.

Last season the teams met on four occasions, Hendon winning only once, with Casey Maclaren and Harry Hunt (penalty) goals earning a 2–1 FA Cup win.

In the FA Trophy it ended 4–2 to the Ks, Lubo Guentchev and James Bent netting for the Greens, while the two Ryman League matches ended in 3–0 defeats.
