Barnet were made to fight to book their place in the next round of the Herts Senior Cup.
Underdogs Hadley took the Bees to extra time at Parkfield last night.
The hosts scored first and Barnet needed a 73rd-minute equaliser from defender Ryan Scott to stay in the tie.
However, in extra time, Barnet's quality stood out, with Jamal Lowe, Mauro Vilhete and Charlie Stimson on target.
The Bees fielded a mix of youngsters and fringe players, which included first-team squad members Vilhete, Stimson, Charlie Taylor, Sam Cox and Rossi Jarvis.
