Hendon return to Ryman League Premier Division action this Saturday with a trip to struggling Aveley.
The Millers have recently replaced their management team of Alan and Garry Kimble – the latter of whom had a brief spell as a Hendon player in 1993 – with former Leyton Orient striker and Barkingside player-coach Carl Griffiths.
Griffiths has played against Hendon not only for the O's (in the 1997 FA Cup tie won by the Greens), but also for Braintree Town in the Ryman League.
Aveley had no fixture on Saturday, and made the management change following a Championship Manager (Isthmian League) Cup defeat at home to their Millfield tenants Romford.
Last season, Hendon completed a league double over Aveley, winning 4–1 at Vale Farm (Dave Diedhiou, James Bent, Danny Dyer and Peter Dean scoring) and 2–1 away with goals from Casey Maclaren and Dean.
