DAVID Laird hit two goals in five minutes to seal victory for Wingate & Finchley on Tuesday night.
It means the Blues stayed top of Ryman League Division One North.
Laird coolly slotted home under the keeper from a cross for his first goal on 56 minutes.
Then he dispatched another from the penalty spot soon afterwards.
