Barnet midfielder Mark Byrne has returned to parent club Nottingham Forest for an assessment on his injured knee.
Byrne, who is on-loan from the City Ground, missed Tuesday's game against Gillingham because of the problem.
The Bees are hoping it is not a long-term injury, as Byrne has been one of the successes of the season so far.
Barnet striker Ricky Holmes is also to have a scan on his knee after hobbling off against the Gills.
