Barnet have two crucial home games against fellow strugglers over the next few days.

On Saturday, the Bees host Northampton Town, while Gillingham are the visitors on Tuesday.

They are massive games for bottom club Barnet.

Boss Mark Stimson can at least take much encouragement from Tuesday's FA Cup clash at Charlton Athletic in which the Bees put in a fine performance.

“We're slowly getting there - how I want the team to play," Stimson said. “The bigger picture looks quite bright but we need to make sure we get some league points.”

Northampton knocked Liverpool out of the Carling Cup earlier this season, but have struggled in the league.

It is a match neither side can really afford to lose.
