Hendon U18s paid their second visit to Enfield Community in three weeks, this time in the Cheshunt Youth League Club and, again, they returned victorious, this time after winning both halves 4–1.
In the fifth minute, Hendon were awarded a penalty, which Steven GONZALEZ converted.
Nine minutes later, Barkley MIGUEL-BANZO doubled the advantage.
Enfield Community did reduce the arrears midway through the half, but Bradley AMBROSE restored the two-goal lead after 33 minutes and Jay OLOKO made it 4–1, four minutes before the interval.
Just before the hour mark, MIGUEL-BANZO scored his second, but Hendon soon conceded a second goal.
Any nerves were quickly soothed when Sholto NENE scored with a header.
With 13 minutes remaining, AMBROSE scored the goal of the game with a delicious lob from a very tight angle.
Then, in the final minute, Hendon won another penalty and AMBROSE completed his hat-trick with a confident spot-kick.
“It was a phenomenal effort by the whole team,” said delighted assistant manager Jason Fevrier, “and we played some great football. My man of the match was Bradley AMBROSE, who got into some great positions, supplied his fellow strikers time after time and got himself a hat-trick.”
