New super-heavyweight national ABA champion Derek Chisora has missed out on selection to the England boxing team for the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
David Price has been chosen ahead of the rising Finchley star in the super-heavyweight category.
Chisora clinched his fourth major title in six months with victory over Tom Dallis at Wembley last week, but it was not enough to earn him a place in the team going to Australia.
It has still been a fantastic year for the Finchley ABC boxer.
He has earned rave reviews and a successful professional career, should he choose that route, appears to be on the cards.
Meanwhile, a number of future stars were in action during Finchley ABC's latest show at the TA Centre in Barnet last Thursday night.
Boxing fans were treated to a series of excellent bouts which featured some of the club's up-and-coming fighters.
