Struggling Potters Bar had an afternoon to forget in Bedfordshire on Saturday.
The Scholars found themselves two down after just 15 minutes and things did not improve after the break, when the hosts added another two just ten minutes into the second period.
Potters Bar's best chance of the second half fell to Michael Sharman, but his rasping drive was turned behind.
Assistant manager Paul Surridge said: "We are quite typical of a team in our position at this minute: things are not going well for us, we are not getting breaks and we are making mistakes that cost us goals."
