Peter Shreeves has joined the Barnet coaching staff.

Shreeves, a former manager of Spurs and Sheffield Wednesday, will assist manager Ian Hendon.

Shreeves, who has also managed the Bees, brought Hendon to Underhill as a player in 2002 and also worked with him at Tottenham and Wednesday, two of Hendon's former clubs.

It was Hendon himself who approached Shreeves for help, as Barnet look to end a dismal run in League Two.

Hendon said: "We need the experience Peter can offer."
