Barnet kick off their League Two campaign with a trip to Lincoln City on Saturday.

And that is followed by a mouth-watering Carling Cup first-round clash with Championship side and county rivals Watford at Underhill on Tuesday night.

Manager Ian Hendon added another two names to his squad in the past week, a new face and one much more familiar to fans.

Winger Albert Jarrett impressed sufficiently in pre-season to be offered a contract, while the experienced Paul Furlong, on loan at Barnet last season, agreed to sign a one-year deal.

Hendon said: "Paul has so much to offer and we are delighted to have someone of his calibre around."

Fellow striker John O'Flynn is back in training, but fighting to be fit for the trip to Sincil Bank. However, defenders Joe Devera and Gary Breen should be available for selection after shrugging off their respective injuries.

Barnet rounded off their pre-season campaign with a 3-1 win at Ebbsfleet at the weekend.
