Mill Hill golfer Daniel Brooks will be taking part in the French Open at Paris from tomorrow.
The 21-year-old ex-england squad member qualified for the prestigious competition at Chantilly Golf Course.
After a first round of 73, level par, he lay in 21st position, with only six qualifying spots available.
However, on the second day, he shot a best round of the tournament 67 (six under par) to finish in third position.
The French Open is one of the European Tour's premier events and Brooks will be competing in a class field, which includes the likes of Luke Donald, Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood and Colin Montgomerie.
