England cricketer Ravi Bopara will be the special guest at this year's Mark Ilott Summer Cricket Camps.
The camps will be held at Old Elizabethans (Barnet) CC, Barnet, and Old Owens CC, Potters Bar, in the first three weeks of the summer holidays (mon-fri July 28-Aug 15).
The cricket camps have been running for the past four summers, and have attracted many local children, including keen cricketers and beginners.
Once again, Ilott has teamed up with the experienced team of ECB cricket coaches from ALL FOR SPORT Ltd, who base all of their coaching around small games, which both develop and enhance skills, as well as creating a fun, competitive environment.
Ilott said: "The cricket camps have been hugely popular over the past few years, because we can cater for all abilities of player. The camps develop and improve cricketing skills through a programme of small-sided games, which makes the whole day fun."
Further to the fun-based' approach to coaching, the camps have boasted a few surprise guests over the years.
Paul Barnfather, director of ALL FOR SPORT and camp organiser, said: "Mark and our experienced ECB coaches often add specialist masterclasses into the coaching programme during the week. The children had a batting masterclass from former England captain Nasser Hussain in a previous camp.
"We are looking forward to welcoming Ravi Bopara, one of England's future stars of the game, to our camps this year."
The camps are expected to be very popular and early booking is recommended.
