Barnet have reluctantly accepted a transfer request from all-action midfielder Neal Bishop.
The 26-year-old has turned down an offer of improved terms and says that he wants to "check his options."
Manager Paul Fairclough said: "Neal has indicated that he wants to leave.
"The club have made him a very good offer of an improved contract that would have put him in line with Barnet's top players but he has not accepted."
The move is a blow to Barnet, with Bishop firmly establishing himself as a fans' favourite in his first season at the club, during which he made 47 appearances.
