Hendon continue to defy the odds.
Just when it looked like their play-off hopes had been dashed, the Greens saw off runaway Ryman League Premier Division champions Chelmsford City on Saturday to put themselves right back in the frame.
Gary McCann's troops have just two league games left in which to secure a top-five spot.
They travel to fellow highfliers Staines Town on Saturday, before concluding their league campaign with a home game against lowly Wealdstone seven days later.
In between, the Greens travel to Imber Court, home of Met Police FC, for the London Senior Cup final against Tooting & Mitcham on Tuesday.
It is sure to be an exciting week for Hendon fans.
On Saturday, the Greens play their penultimate Ryman League Premier Division fixture against Staines at Wheatsheaf Park, kick-off 3.00pm.
The Swans have had a fantastic season (beating Stockport County in the FA Cup) and are guaranteed a play-off spot, something they achieved before their victory at Harlow Town last weekend.
Hendon have already visited Wheatsheaf Park once this season, in the quarter-finals of the Middlesex Senior Cup, and, despite a missed penalty, came out on top 3-2 (Brian Haule, Jamie Busby and Belal Aiteouakrim scoring).
In the Ryman League at Claremont Road in October, a late Brian Haule goal gave Hendon a 2-1 victory, this after Marc Leach had opened the scoring with a spectacular free-kick.
Then, on Tuesday night, Hendon travel to Imber Court to take on Tooting & Mitcham United. Kick-off is at 7.30 pm.
Hendon and Tooting met at Claremont Road two seasons ago, in the semi-final of the same competition, and a stoppage-time goal from Dave Hunt put the Greens in the final, which they lost at Tooting's Imperial Fields stadium to Fisher Athletic.
Hendon's hero that night was goalkeeper Dave King, who so impressed the Terrors with his performance that they signed him the following off season.
