Hendon made it six straight wins in the Southern League Premier Division South with a 3-0 success away at bottom side Dorchester Town.
Tommy Brewer put the Greens ahead on 55 minutes before late goals from Joe White and Simeon Olarerin wrapped up the victory.
Lee Allinson made one change to the side that won against Yate Town last week, as Sam Corcoran came into midfield in place of Percy Kiangebeni. He was joined on the bench by new signing Tyrique Clarke, who joined from Metropolitan Police.
Dorchester made the better start, defying a winless run of close to four months, but were denied the lead early on when Rihards Matrevics produced an excellent double save.
The hosts also hit the crossbar later in the first half, with Hendon counting themselves lucky to be level at the break.
A big improvement came in the second half though, and the Greens took the lead when Shaun Lucien’s deep delivery was sent back into the box by Solomon Sambou, and Brewer was on hand to head in his first for the club.
The game was made safe with two minutes of time remaining as Dorchester were caught on the break, and although Shane Murphy saved well from White initially, the ball rebounded straight back to him and he tucked home.
A third and final goal arrived in stoppage time for the Greens as another flowing move resulted in Luca Allinson playing across for Olarerin to open his account for the club.
The win puts Hendon 12th in the table ahead of this Saturday’s game at home to Hayes & Yeading United.
