Hendon maintained their 100 per cent record in Herts/Middlesex 1 with a 36-12 win over Bank of England.
Harry Charles opened the scoring after five minutes with the first try of the day and the lead was doubled a short time later when a good move involving Rossa Dooley and Junior Farao was finished off by Toby Ikwueke.
From the restart, Will Theaker played in Cian Hynes to score, and he added the conversion to put Hendon into a 17-0 lead.
The home side were now in command and Charles asserted their dominance with his second try of the game, which was converted by Hynes.
Just before the interval, Bank got their first points of the game with a well-worked converted try to get them on the board.
Hendon, though, picked up from where they left off in the second half and went 29-7 ahead when Donal O’Sullivan ran through unopposed.
Hynes then intercepted a pass and ran through to add Hendon’s final try of the afternoon, although Bank had the final say with a late try to seal the score at 36-12.
Next up for Hendon is a trip to Canvey Island in the regional semi-final of the National Junior Vase on Saturday, February 8.
