Hendon advanced to the regional semi-finals on the London & SE Junior Vase after a 37-10 win over Teddington.
The side looked a bit rusty to begin with due to playing their first game since December 7, but two tries apiece from Will Theaker and Toby Ikwueke and some excellent kicking from Cian Hynes saw them through.
Teddington took an early lead through a penalty but Hendon soon levelled through one of their own by Hynes.
The hosts then completed the turnaround when Theaker went over in the corner and Hynes added the conversion to make it 10-3.
That pair combined again early in the second period to extend Hendon’s lead before a brace of penalties from Hynes, after a converted dry had brought Teddington to double figures, effectively ended the game.
Hynes then converted two Ikwueke tries to seal a comfortable win.
Hendon return to Herts/Middlesex 1 action this weekend when they host Wasps FC.
