Martin Allen has hinted he will reinstate Curtis Weston and Bondz N’Gala for Barnet’s home game with Plymouth Argyle tomorrow evening.
The duo were left unused for the first time for a League Two fixture on Saturday as the Bees came from behind to draw 2-2 at Accrington Stanley.
But after shuffling his pack to make four changes for the trip to the Crown Ground, head coach Allen suggested the duo would return for the visit of Argyle.
Speaking on Saturday, he said: “We’ll freshen it up again on Tuesday for the Plymouth game.
“One of our best players recently has been Curtis Weston. He’s played on the left wing, the right wing – all over the place. I don’t think he’s missed one game all season.
“It’s nice to be able to leave him out, leave Bondz (N’Gala) out, bring people in and still get a result. Now we can bring them back in for Tuesday.”
Argyle arrive at The Hive second in League Two, eight points clear of Accrington in fourth but ten behind leaders Northampton Town.
But Allen insists he is concerned only with his own players, not Derek Adams’ side.
“We do try to treat every game as important,” Allen told the Times Series. “There is no interest in where other teams are in the league. The interest from myself and the staff is the same.”
He continued: “The players will all play games. They’re being rested, not dropped, and they need to get used to it because we’ve got good enough players to go into these games and get results.
“Plymouth have got some very good players and some game winners. We will have to be right up there at the top of our game. We can’t afford to have any passengers.”
The Bees are still without Graham Stack (groin), Gavin Hoyte (knee), Elliott Johnson (hip), Bira Dembele (knee), Michael Gash (hamstring), Shaun Batt and Chris Hackett (knee).
