Champions Edgware Town concluded their home campaign with a convincing 4-0 win over Leverstock Green.
The Wares, who were presented with the Spartan South Midlands Premier League shield following the match, only need to gain a point at Langford in their final game on Saturday to notch up 100 for the season.
Having secured the title last week, the pressure was off and Town put in a much more confident performance.
Greg Ngoyi got them off to the perfect start, when he hit Edgware's quickest goal of the season. Ngoyi won the ball down the right, cut inside and fired home. Just 11 seconds had gone.
The hosts were then denied a clear penalty, when Ngoyi was brought down in the box.
And, despite playing some attractive football throughout the first half, they failed to add to their lead before the break.
Stuart Blackburne doubled the advantage seven minutes into the second half, when his shot from inside the box beat Lee Clark. The Wares were now in full command and Darren Bonfield was not called upon to make any sort of save.
Ben Hayden added a third for Edgware on 65 minutes, latching on to a good cross from Gavin Hart and finishing well from close range.
Stuart Blackburne was then denied a penalty when he was tripped in the area, before the striker hit the bar with another effort.
Steve Brady replaced Blackburne with 15 minutes left and made an instant impact. After getting booked, he soon made amends by scoring the fourth. Richard Morton's free-kick rebounded off the post to Brady, who sent the ball past a diving Clark from just inside the box.
However, Brady's joy was short-lived, as the referee sent him off moments later, after an exchange of words with Leverstock captain Alan Arthur following his goal celebrations.
But it was soon all smiles again, as Edgware were presented with the title after the final whistle, the reward for what has been a very memorable season for the Wares.
