Former Barnet winger Lee Cook is set for quick reunion with his former teammates after joining the Bees' pre-season opponents Eastleigh.
The 32-year-old winger made 39 league appearances for Martin Allen's men as they won the Conference last season, scoring eight goals.
Cook, who lists Fulham, Queens Park Rangers and Watford among his former employers, was released along with Jack Saville at the end of the season after falling out of favour towards the end of the campaign.
He was not included in the matchday 16 for either of Barnet's final three games and it was announced at the beginning of May he would not be offered a new contract by the Bees.
Barnet will go to the Silverlake Stadium on Saturday, August 1 - a week before the Football League season starts with a trip to Leyton Orient - to face Richard Hill's side in a pre-season tussle in Hampshire.
