Totteridge Millhillians remain in the title hunt in Herts Cricket League Division One after defeating Flitwick by 124 runs.
Millhillians lost the toss and were inserted. They made a poor start to their innings and lost two wickets without scoring a run.
Wickets continued to tumble throughout the order but some tail end resistance from Rob McDougall (25 not out) and John Emburey (36) helped Totteridge post 197 for nine from their 53 overs.
It was a total that proved more than enough as only one Flitwick batsman made double figures.
Mark Umlauf scored 40 but without any support throughout the innings, Flitwork were skittled for just 73.
Shaun O'Brien was the star with the ball as he ended with seven for 20. Emburey and Hassan Mahmood took one wicket apiece.
Millhillians’ Seconds lost by 32 runs to Redbourn in Division Three and the Thirds drew against Northwood Seconds in Division Six.
