Finchley have slipped into the relegation zone in Middlesex Cricket League Division One after suffering a seven-wicket defeat to Hampstead.
Finchley batted first and posted a respectable 212 all out, with Jake Milton (55) and Keerthi Ranasinghe (43) the main contributors.
Finchley struggled with the ball as Hampstead openers Steve Clark (95) and Graham Clark (73) put on 174 for the first wicket.
That put their side in a strong position and Hampstead eased to victory in the 46th over. Jake Milton was the only Finchley bowler to have any joy, ending with three for 21.
