Good performances with the bat from Jake Milton and Ross Sutcliff helped Finchley record a four-wicket win against Richmond in Middlesex League Division One.
Richmond started the game at the crease and went on to score 214 all out in 66 overs. Imran Qayyum was the stand-out bowler, taking five for 45.
It was a good total but one they ultimately couldn’t defend and Milton (76) and Sutcliff (61 not out) helped Finchley to victory in the 52nd over.
In the Second XI Division One, Finchley Seconds lost by three wickets to top-of-the-table Richmond Seconds and in the Third XI Division One Finchley Thirds were beaten by 232 runs by Richmond Thirds.
