Stanmore claimed an important 132-run victory against Twickenham in Middlesex League Division One thanks to a fine knock of 117 from former England player Mark Ramprakash.
Stanmore won the toss and decided to bat.
They went on to post a final total of 249 for four thanks to Ramprakash’s innings and a helpful 51 from Jake Whiteaker.
That proved too much for Twickenham to overcome and they were dismissed for 117, with Whiteaker impressing with four for 33.
Stanmore Seconds were beaten by eight wickets against Acton Seconds in Second XI Division One but the Thirds claimed a winning draw from their Third XI Division One clash against Eastcote Thirds.
