Potters Bar claimed an important victory in Home Counties Premier League Division One as they defeated second placed Harpenden by four runs.
Winning the toss and opting to bat, Harpenden failed to make the most of their decision and were bowled out for 118.
Jake Pankhurst (30) and Will Jones (28) made the score respectable with some good batting down the order.
The pick of the Bar bowlers was Daniel Pascoe who ended with 51 for four from his 18 overs.
Potters Bar chased down the runs with little fuss although they did lose six wickets before claiming victory.
Tanweer Sikandar anchored the innings with a well constructed 77 not out as Bar got home in the 47th over.
Harpenden's Ben Frazer was unlucky to be on the losing side as he took an impressive five for 52 from his ten overs.
In Division Seven, Potters Bar Thirds suffered a seven-wicket defeat against Hexton. Bar could only reach 107 before being skittled and Hexton eased to victory in their reply, losing just three wickets.
