Finchley Racing Team’s Trevor Burke and Andy Hastings recorded a dominant win at the CC London Two Up Time Trial.
The duo completed the 25 mile circuit in a personal best time of 54.08, a full six minutes ahead of their nearest rivals.
Hastings said: “Trevor set off at a blistering pace then we settled into a good rhythm sharing the work, there seemed to be lots of cross wind and headwind, but very little tail wind so we were very happy with our time.”
Finchley hosted the Paul Simon Homes Criteriums at the Hillingdon Cycle Centre last weekend but there were no wins for the team.
Costa Pierides and Kevin Elderfield attacked the attacked the field in the Masters race but were not able to form a break while Jack Davis’ race ended disappointingly as he was blocked out in the sprint finish.
