Calling all fans of the classic film The Railway Children.

Embark on a magical two-day tour that combines a visit to the historic city of York with a nostalgic ride on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, aboard the iconic Green Dragon steam train.

We have teamed up with Just Go to help save you £20 on the trip on September 29.

Your journey begins with a comfortable coach ride to York, where you can spend an afternoon exploring this charming city at your own pace.

From bustling shops to fascinating museums, York offers something for everyone. After a delightful afternoon, settle in for the evening at your comfortable hotel.

The next day, head to the charming village of Oxenhope, where a brass band welcomes you aboard the heritage steam train.

The Green Dragon, recently restored to its original black livery, will whisk you away on a scenic journey through breathtaking countryside.

As you travel, enjoy a special treat – a talk by Graham Mitchell, who played the train guard in the original 1970s film and Chris Witty, the boy in the red jersey.

They'll share behind-the-scenes stories and fun facts from the filming, bringing the beloved movie to life.

Soak up the sights and sounds of a bygone era as the Green Dragon steams through the stunning countryside.

Take a break at the Edwardian-style Oakworth Station, featured in both the original film and its 2022 sequel, The Railway Journey.

Enjoy a delicious Yorkshire snack or hot drink while exploring this historic location.

After your return to Oxenhope, take home a goody bag filled with souvenirs as a memento of your special day.

Prices started from just £169 per person but can be purchased now via this link for just £149.
