The second round of modelling competition Broadwalk to Catwalk takes place tomorrow when 160 catwalk hopefuls will be whittled down to just 21.

Hundreds of people signed up to the contest, sponsored by the Times Series, in the Broadwalk Shopping Centre, in Station Road, Edgware.

A total of 80 entrants, aged four and over, were picked from each of two sign-up sessions but the challenges become more difficult as the competition hots up.

Modelling hopefuls will get their first taste of catwalk action in front of shoppers in the centre tomorrow (Saturday) in the casting section of the competition.

With professional modelling contracts available for the final winners, pressure will be high as the men and women and boys and girls of all ages take to the stage and strut their stuff.

The catwalk will be running from 11am so be sure to give the amateur models some great support.
