A Temple Fortune shopkeeper is hosting a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support this month.
Lorretta Paterson will open up her jewellery and gift shop, Temptation, in Finchley Road, to help raise cash for the charity from 9.30am-12.30pm on Friday, September 28.
She said: “Each year I try to do something for charity and this year I picked Macmillan because of the great work it does.
“It’s such a wonderful cause and I hope we can raise some awareness for the work they do. As well as trying to find a cure, it’s important to have a charity that supports people who have cancer.”
Ms Paterson will provide cakes and coffees as part of Macmillan’s national coffee morning.
