A 44-year-old woman was assaulted and had her handbag stolen in Finchley in the early hours of Monday.
She was walking in Glebe Road, at 1.45am, when she heard a motorbike coming up behind her.
She turned around to see the motorbike heading straight towards her, and she jumped out of the way. She continued walking along a pathway that runs along the North Circular Road, and a few minutes later, a man approached her, slapped her around the face and pushed her to the floor.
He then snatched her handbag, containing her mobile phone worth £140 and £30 cash, and ran off along the pathway back into Glebe Road. The victim then heard a motorbike driving away.
The suspect is described as white, aged 19 and 5ft 4in tall.
