A SQUATTER was taken to hospital with a head injury after being forced out of a house owned by the Gaddafi family, police say.
Officers were called to the £11m mansion in Winnington Close, Hampstead Garden Suburb, on Saturday night by neighbours after reports of a fight there.
The eight bedroom-property has been occupied by a group calling themselves Topple the Tyrants two weeks ago, who say they will not leave until it has been returned to the Libyan people.
A man, who claims he had been living in the house which boasts a swimming pool, flat-screen tvs in every room and a Jacuzzi, said he had been violently thrown out of the eight-bedroom mansion.
He was taken to a north London hospital and treated for a gash on his head and bruising on his torso and arms he claimed was caused by an attack form the other occupants.
However, Belkasem Alghiryani, who lives in the house and acts as spokesman for the group, denied police had been called or the reports of a fight.
He said: “No-one’s been kicked out, the guys down here are cool. That’s why from day one we haven’t let anyone in we didn’t know or trust.
“We’ve got people coming here sometimes asking to look around, and if we know them we let them in.
“We have only spoken to police twice since we got here.”
