THREE teenagers arrested after a fatal smash in Colindale on Wednesday have been released on bail.
An 18-year-old died when the Volkswagen Golf he was travelling in crashed head-on into a Renault Megane in Colindeep Lane at 2.40pm.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, but police are still awaiting formal identification and a post mortem to establish the cause of death.
The three men, one aged 17 and two 18, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, but have been bailed pending further inquiries.
Police think the Golf had travelled down the A41 before turning into Colindeep Lane, where they think it crashed into a parked car moments before the fatal collision.
