AN EASTENDERS favourite made a group of charity worker’s days with an unannounced visit to their Barnet offices on Monday.
Shane Richie, who plays cheeky Queen Vic landlord Alfie Moon in the BBC soap, dropped in to see staff at the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice offices in Victors Way.
He also promised to help the charity, which helps children with life limiting diseases and their family, to raise money for their planned new hospice in Byng Road.
Kate Gray, head of income generation, said: “We are delighted by Shane’s support. It’s come at an absolutely crucial time in the development of Noah’s Ark as we look forward to launching an appeal over the next few months.”
