AN inquest has opened into the death of a pedestrian who was hit by a lorry in Mill Hill.
Police had been called to the A1 southbound between Stirling Corner and Apex Corner at around 12.15pm on Sunday February 27 where the 37-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post mortem examination at Finchley mortuary took place on Tuesday March 1 and gave cause of death as multiple injuries.
The details of the Polish man will not be released pending ongoing investigations by Inspector Mary Bristow of the Metropolitan Police Service.
Insp Bristow told the court she hopes to conclude the investigations by May 5.
The inquest will be heard on July 8 at North London Coroners Court.
No arrests were made and the man’s next of kin have been informed.
