PEOPLE who use health services in the borough are being invited to a meeting about the future of adult social care on Thursday evening.
Barnet Local Improvement Network (LINk) is hosting the meeting to allow people to have their say on how they think the services should be run.
The meeting will include presentations from Barnet Council officers and information about how the public can get involved with the LINk.
Ian Kaye, LINk chairman, said: “From residential care homes to counseling services, from home help for the elderly to holidays for people with learning disabilities, every family depends on social services at some point in our lives.
“Everyone should have a say about how these services are run so that they meet our needs.
“By getting involved in Barnet LINk you can have your say. We’re especially keen for often overlooked groups like people from ethnic minorities, disabled people and carers to come along and have their say.”
The meeting takes place at the Sangam Centre, Burnt Oak Broadway, between 7pm-9pm. For more information email link@communitybarnet.org.uk or call Zoe Kattah on 020 8364 8400.
