PURPLE crocuses are welcoming visitors to Golders Hill Park.
The carpet of purple crocuses each side of the gates to the park in North End Road was donated by the Rotary Club of Golders Green as part of the celebration of its anniversary.
President of the Club, Ian Addleson, said the choice of purple was significant because of the organisation’s project to rid the world of polio.
Others who attended a ceremony to unveil the crocuses included gardening staff who planted the crocuses and members of the Rotary Club.
