She had several hundred pounds and her passport is missing, although police have been told she is likely to stay in London.
Mrs Moggan, who is white, with short brown hair, has never gone missing before.
Police Constable Kevin Crowe from Missing Person Unit said: "I urge anyone with information to get in touch with Breda's family, or contact the police."
