AN appeal to build four five-bedroom houses in Potters Bar has been dismissed.
Plans to construct the homes in Oakmere Lane were originally rejected by the Potters Bar & Shenley planning committee in November 2010.
The decision was upheld by Government inspectors on Friday, stating the main issue as the effect it would have on the character and appearance of the area.
A site visit was made by inspector, Martin Seddon, in January.
