NETWORK Rail has said it will admit health and safety failures over the 2002 Potters Bar train crash today.
The rail infrastructure owner and operator faced charges brought by the Office of Rail Regulation (OPR) at Watford Magistrates.
Chair of the bench, Peter Palfrey, referred the case to St Albans Crown Court for sentencing on March 30 at 10am.
Jarvis Rail, which was in charge of the section of track at Potters Bar, also faces charges over alleged safety breaches.
The company, which did not enter a guilty plea, had its hearing adjourned until March 21.
