THE court case in which Network Rail and a maintenance company face health and safety charges over the 2002 Potters Bar train crash starts today.
Brought by the Office of Rail Regulation (OPR), proceedings will begin at Watford Magistrates' court.
Jarvis Rail, which was in charge of the section of track at Potters Bar, also faces charges over alleged safety breaches.
Six passengers and a pedestrian were killed in the crash on May 10 2002.
