A TEA room will launch in Hendon next month to raise cash for charities.
Michelle Weiss will open her doors to young and old at her cottage in The Burroughs, where groups of no more than ten can enjoy an intimate high tea.
Mrs Weiss and her friend Caitlin Kelly will offer a range of homemade cakes, scones, meringues and finger sandwiches as well as unlimited tea and coffee for £10 per person.
Health and social care charity Jewish Care will be the first to receive a donation but guests are encouraged to nominate which charity the proceeds go to.
John Kanerick, fundraising executive for Jewish Care said: “For people to donate their time and effort for charities is very admirable and this is an amazing and novel way to do it.”
