RESIDENTS are set for a showdown meeting at Barnet Copthall stadium tomorrow night over Sracens' plans to relocate there.
Dozens of people living around the stadium in Mill Hill are expected to attend the two-hour forum aimed at talking through a range of issues.
People are particularly unhappy at proposed parking plans, despite promises from Saracens chief executive Edward Griffiths there will be a “residents' charter” to prevent any nuisance.
A planning application is expected to be submitted to Barnet Council later this month for the athletics stadium, which could be transformed into a 10,000 seater arena.
The club are hoping to be playing Premiership rugby there from September, although the strength of local opposition could scupper those plans.
The meeting will be held at the stadium between 7pm-9pm on Tuesday, February 15.
