IMAGES of two “dangerous people” who attacked a young mother in front of her daughter on a crowded bus have been released by police.

The pair launched a vicious assault on the woman after she moved her pram to let them put theirs in a space on the 83 bus as it travelled along Vivian Avenue in Hendon on January 17.

When the 23-year-old tried to get her pram back in the woman spat in her face, but when she protested the man with the other woman attacked her.

He grabbed her hair and hit her head on a metal pole and then threw her off the bus, pushing her to the ground and causing her facial and head injuries.

Sergeant Brad Crossley said: "The bus was very crowded at the time of this attack, and we are appealing for any of those people on the bus to come to us with further information.

“Also, anyone who recognises the individuals from the pictures we have released would be of immense value in apprehending two dangerous people who clearly had no thought for a young woman and her child."

The woman is described as between 18-22 and white, while the man is black and aged between 20-25.
